Close Your Tags
One thing about SEO or Search Engine Optimization is that you should do it the right way the first time otherwise you could be screwing yourself and your site over. If you used XHTML or just plain on HTML, make sure you close all your tags in the way that you opened them.
For example, if you opened the Bold Tag then the Italics Tag then you should close it backwards, meaning close it with the Italics then with the Bold Tag. Make it a full circle instead of making it look like the number eight which looks like 8.
Close your tags otherwise you will see a lot of validation errors, something that doesn’t look very pretty on the coders end.
