Playing games such as Counter Strike 1.6, Counter Strike: Source, and Day of Defeat requires a company to host that server for you. These are kind of like web hosting servers but much more complicated because it requires more bandwidth and data transfer. Counter-Strike game servers generally cost from $1.49 per slot to $3 per slot depending on the company you get it from and the quality of the servers. One company that lives up to its reputation is called Low Pings. They have some of the cheapest servers I’ve seen on the net. As you may know, I’ve been researching counter strike servers for my forum and so far this is one of the best I’ve seen. You can get a 12 slot server for less than $18, not many other companies can even compete with that.

What good is a Counter Strike game server without ventrilo servers to go along with it. DallasXtreme ventrilo server hosting is a company willing to host your ventrilo servers for a very cheap price. Once again these are some of the cheapest vent servers I’ve seen around. You can get a 10 slot server for less than $5. And if you want a huge one, you can get a 100 slot one for $30 which is about $0.30 per slot, can’t really beat that either.

Well this is just information on two great server companies out there. One has to do with game servers which I will be researching a bit more and the other a ventrilo server which I may get after my game server is set up.
