Cars that can take you for a ride
The world of supercars continues to fascinate car aficionados of all ages and to be able to take your very own supercar for a spin is a dream come true for people all over the world. The supercar business is a vibrant scene where new players are constantly added, while others are forced to retire and get out of production. One of the newer stars on the supercar heaven is Pagani Automobili S.p.A, and Italian car manufacturer founded in 1992. This feisty little enterprise has been making the Pagani Zonda since 1999 and shows no signs of stopping. 1992 might not seem like yesterday for you, the Ferrari has been around since 1929, Porsche was founded in 1931, and supercars like the Corvette Stingray haven’t even been in production since 1976. In the world of extreme cars, Pagani is still a baby.
The Pagani Zonda is powered by V-12 DOHC engines from the AMG division of Mercedes-Benz and the design of the car is famous for its unique solutions, such as the circular four pipe exhaust. The Pagani Zonda is the only model to come out of Pagani Automobili S.p.A, but the company has announced that a new model with the current codename C9 will become the 2009 model. This car will not be based on the Zonda. Little is known about the C9, but just like the Zonda cars the C9s will use V12 engines from Mercedes-Benz.
